Fisher Cats Game: Approximately thirty people traveled to Manchester this summer to watch the Fisher Cats play baseball on their Faith and Family night. We heard players share their faith stories, saw one of our children throw a ceremonial first pitch (which was a strike), watched the game, and the fireworks that followed. Other than a child disappearing for a few moments, the evening was enjoyable, and the weather cooperated.
Rally Sunday: We welcomed children and families back to church by tie dying church t-shirts. Palmison Graphics made the t-shirts and we tie-dyed them under the capable leadership of John Anderson and Sarah. The t-shirts were beautiful and worn the following week on our church family adventure.
Church Family Adventure to Story Land: A bus load ventured to Glen, NH to visit Story Land. Once again the weather cooperated and our children and families enjoyed a day at Story Land after church on the 19th of September. While some kids were a little past the age of Story Land, they found their own entertainment in creative ways.
