FAMILY ROUNDTABLE
November 7th 8:30-9:15 On the first Sunday of the month, grab your coffee and come on over to the roundtable in the corner of the fellowship hall. Share your ideas about how we can best serve families. Give us feedback about what we've done so far, and how we can improve. Help us tweak what we're doing. Let your voice be heard whether you've been coming to PCUCC forever or just started coming. We'll listen. We'll respond. We want to hear from you. Can't quite make 8:30, join us when you can. |
CHRISTMAS SHOPPING WITHOUT THE KIDS
Sunday, December 5th (After church until 5) After church, bring the kids downstairs for an ADVENT WORKSHOP and you can take off to do your Christmas shopping without the children tagging along. If you have a spouse, partner, or good friend, you can do it together, without kids.. Imagine that.
While you're doing your thing, the kids will be doing Christmas activities like decorating Christmas cookies, making special gifts for you, working on craft projects, playing and singing music and similar activities. Oh yes, and we'll feed them lunch too. Have friends or know other parents who may be interested in an opportunity like this? Let them know. They and their children are welcome to be a part of this. Its our way of helping to support the families of this community. |
PARENTS' DAY OUT
FAMILY DAY OUT First Sundays of the Month Parents' Day Out Every other month, on the first Sunday of the month, parents have an opportunity to do something for themselves, while their children get to do something fun with their church family. It's our way of supporting the very important job parents are doing and doing well. Its our gift to parents, ... time alone, while wide awake...something that's hard to find in this day and age. Family Day Out On the alternate months, families get a chance to do fun things together with other families. As one parent put it, "with such limited time together, we don't have to choose between church or special family time, we can do both." |
