What is Progressive Christianity?

The Bible, church history, and tradition are great sources of truth and inspiration.  We start there, but we don't stop there.  We believe that God is still speaking!

We are a compassionate community, intentionally inclusive, openly searching, and joyously serving in the way of Christ..

Progressive Christianity means that we find strength and guidance for life's journey in Jesus' teaching.  It means that we think and talk and act as the Spirit leads us here and now.  It means that we encourage each other to put our faith into our lives and our lives into our faith.

It means that we accept the cost and joy of discipleship in the 21st century.  It means that we are prepared to speak up and to stand up for justice in the Church and in the world.

I'm excited to be part of this congregation.  It walks the talk of being warm and welcoming.  There is genuine affection, faith in action, fun and fellowship here.

Most of all, please come visit us in person.  We worship at 9:30 Sunday morning.  There is nursery care and Sunday School at the same time.  Coffee, snacks, and conversation take place afterward in the Fellowship Hall.
